Why Dating in NYC Sucks And What You Can Do About It
New York, NY – September 23, 2009 – Dating is tough. It's a reality
many single men can attest to. But in an urban jungle like New York,
it can be downright daunting.
Men can often get the impression that women in New York are stuck-up,
cold, unapproachable, gold diggers... the list goes on and on. But
where do such stereotypes come from? Is it because single women in
their twenties and thirties don't take relationships seriously? Or do
they take it too seriously that they're always on the look-out for
better option or to trade up? But most importantly, where are all the
sexy, intelligent, high quality women in this crazy city?
Philip J, an executive coach, says that such women are out
there. The real challenge, however, is meeting them and establishing
that all-important connection. “I’ve heard the same thing said of
women in LA, San Francisco, Miami, London, Hong Kong – everywhere. The
issue does not lie in the fact that these women may exist – it lies
with the men that have not yet developed the social skills and
confident mindset to create more choice for themselves in their dating
lives,” he said. “Whenever you go out you can see guys with sexy, hot
women – and these men are almost always very ordinary, just like you
or me.”
Since 2008, Philip J has organized the NYC Social Dynamics Group, a
local men’s group established to help guys have more success with
women. Each month, the group invites experts within the seduction
community to present inner game/mindset concepts that challenge dating
myths, misconceptions and fallacies.
“There are a lot of books and material about dating and seduction
tactics available for sale on the internet,” said Philip J. “But the
speakers I bring to the group go a step further and help the members
develop the proper mentality and confidence to approach, engage and
connect with women”
After group discussions, members also go out to popular night spots in
New York to apply what they learned and further develop their social
skills. “What makes this group so successful is the involvement of the
guys,” Philip said. “We all share a belief that building oneself from
the inside out, developing rock solid confidence and social skills is
possible - that with disciplined effort we can all have more choices
for ourselves, date attractive women and establish relationships that
are more satisfying.”
In a matter of only two years the group has grown to 325 members and
will host it's first annual all-day Social Dynamics Summit – the only
one of its kind in the NYC area – on Saturday, September 26. The one
day Summit will feature the top 8 East Coast dating coaches, over 20
hours of presentations, hands on break-out sessions, and Q & A panels.
